X-Bars technology
The physical simulation of cornering, climbing, carving and swooping are replicated by the arc motion of the X-Bars. The oil filled damper provides variable resistance and the double spring mechanism provides the return action. The trapeziod mechanism allows to the bars to travel in the correct plane to replicate the arc motion.
Body-Position Sensing Technology
One of the most fundamental technical inputs that a rider controls when riding a real bike, especially a mountain bike, is whether they are sitting or standing. When sitting, you'll be pedalling with enhanced traction to keep the back wheel gripping the ground. When standing, you'll have maximum steering responsiveness round the sharp berms.
Pedal-Position Sensing Technology
The Xdream knows the position of the cranks, allowing the software another level of interactivity. Uphill will need some more effort, and downhill is easier so you can coast down if you're still exhausted from the way up! Different terrains have different properties, so you'll want to keep on the track, because the gravel tracks are faster than the grassy verge!
Brakes
The Xdream is the only interactive bike on the market which includes fully independent and analogue control brakes. When starting the 4-tiered fitness programme, there is an option to use our Auto-brake assistance, but later this will turn off. The real brake levers reflect the real contact points on an outdoor bike, but make sure you scrub off your speed before the corners to keep yourself "rubber side down"!
Bike look and feel....
The Xdream allows you to precisely select the sweet spot for the saddle height, X-bar height and fore/aft position of the saddle using our micro adjustable system to finely tune the bike in just a few moments just as your real bike is. The bike has riser bars and bar ends to allow you to utilise the power in your upper body and to provide a more natural ride position. With SPD pedals as standard,you can jump on the Xdream in your trainers or cycling shoes and power your way to winning races!
