Which trainers and athletes are using it?

Paul Chek

Paul Chek founder of the C.H.E.K. institute, the home of Corrective Holistic Exercise Kinesiology, uses the X-Bike as part of his routine. "The X-Bike is the only indoor bike i have used that allows natural body movement, the "functional movement" of cycling on an indoor bike platform. Not only that, my wife loves it!"

Aldon Baker

Aldon Baker is Ricky Carmichael, James Stewart and Nicky Hayden's trainer. “All my top clients use X-Bikes and Xdreams for indoor training and pre-race warm up. The arm movement really helps in getting the entire body ready to perform at a world class level. The additional motivation and bench marking ability provided by the Xdream helps me keep my clients on top of their games.”

Gunnar Peterson

LA’s premier trainer to the stars and fitness guru. "Unlike spinning bikes, the X-Bike does not have a fixed gear, which means the pedals don't carry over the stroke. It feels more like a real bike. The kicker? It has adjustable resistance handlebars that move laterally as you push on them…this is a truly full-body workout: your core stabilising muscles of the abdomen and lower back gets into action as well as the arms, legs and cardiovascular system."

Mark Covell

Mark Covell

Olympic Silver medalist & Americas Cup Racer - March '07 - "One of the most important parts of my sports specific training for sailing is core stability. Pulling lines in, twisting as you winch and hold your body stable as you crash through waves really taxes your upper torso. The extra workout you get from the X-Bars make you work your upper body, not just your legs. After a session on the X-Bike I feel I’ve worked my arms, shoulders, stomach and legs. Because the X-Bike lets you move more, you don’t get that static feeling that you’ve sat in one place for too long.

Southampton Football Club

Garath Bale

Here at Southampton Football Club, we have used the x-bike extensively as part of our rehabilitation programmes. The additional involvement of the core and upper body in the x-bike workout has enabled an improved heart rate response when compared to a traditional stationary cycle. We have found it easier to elicit a heart rate response of 85% MHR and above using the x-bike and this has greatly enhanced our maintenance programmes for injured players before they can return to high impact training. Feedback from the players’ has also been positive in terms of the riding experience and comfort of the x-bike

Caprice

"The X-Bike has become a regular part of my training! I needed something different to combine with my other fitness sessions. I found that this provides a really low impact workout that I can easily control, and it strengthens my upper body at the same time. I'm on it 3 times a week for around 30 mins and I can already feel the difference. My knees get sore from running, and riding the X-Bike takes the impact away from my joints and gives me a functional training session that really works my core. Give me more!"

Lynn Davies (MBE)

President of UK Athletics and Olympic gold medal winner, Lynn is one of Britain’s best known athletes. Winner of the Gold Medal for Long Jump in the '64 Olympic games, Davies spends his life promoting the highest standards in athletics in the UK. Based at the Cardiff Performance Centre in Wales he has been using the X-Bike as part of the training regime for young athletes. In a hand written letter to Trixter he says, "I can recommend to all our athletes both as a general fitness machine and as an aid to top cyclists looking to improve their performance."

Joe Worsley

Joe Worsley plays flanker for both Wasps and England. He has represented England many times since his first cap in 1999. Joe uses the X-Bike to help an Avulsion injury to his right Hamstring.
